After a lazy morning, we made our way to Le Reminet for a delicious lunch! We both had a really nice French white wine, the name of which I didn't catch. Julie had the roast duck with amazing cheesy potatoes and a dessert incorrectly translated "crusty cake". It was more like Angel Food cake circle filled with apricot mousse served with pineapple. Here was my lunch...
Our cute little French restaurant
Scallops and Parma ham with corn blini on leeks with a lemon corriander sauce
Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse with a chocolate milkshake
It was amazing! Loved it! They also had a 14 euro lunch special but decided to go for the actual menu since we had the discount.
After lunch we went to Bon Marche to pick up some gifts and enjoy wandering around their fabulous food hall. Then we metroed it to Galerie LaFayette, my favorite department store in Paris. I immediately went to Pierre Herme for my chocolates and a few macarons...mmmmm...we enjoyed browsing the kids section (ahem, more like the kids floor) as well as the books/souvenirs section before taking a peak at the top floor terrace with a view of Paris.
After our shopping extravaganza we took it slow and Julie finished packing. Hard to believe the time went so fast. Until next time!
