I am officially in DC! I had a wonderful first day with my best friend, Courtney. We visited all the major monuments and the American History museum. Last night we went to a local park where they are doing a series of 80's movies in an outdoor setting. We went with a group of Courtney's friends from work and watched "Pretty in Pink" on the grass under stars (well, more like landing airplanes, but it was still awesome). Today, we're going to the Holocaust Museum as well as the Natural History Museum. It's going to be a hot and humid day so we may also take a dip in the pool. I love leisurely vacations!
